Ahead of their upcoming clash with Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso downplayed the significance of a disagreement between his players, Victor Boniface and Emiliano Buendía, during their recent match against Eintracht Frankfurt. The incident occurred towards the end of Leverkusen’s dominant 4-1 victory over Frankfurt on Saturday in the Bundesliga, a win that not only secured three crucial points for the team but also showcased their readiness for the big challenge ahead.




The confrontation between Boniface and Buendía took place during the final minutes of the game, when both players collided in the heat of the moment, just before the last scoring opportunity. Boniface, visibly frustrated, pushed Buendía, and his teammates had to step in quickly to calm him down.
